I received a book recently that I was invited to review and I enjoyed it so much that I thought I’d post about it. The book is called Learn to Study the Bible and it is filled with 40 different methods to approach the study of scripture. While this book is written to a general Christian audience, anyone who is studying sacred writings will find methods in this book that invite pondering and serious thinking about the principles found therein. I’ve been reading this book Don’t get caught with your skirt down : a practical girl’s recession guide by Jill Keto. There’s a lot of straight talking about becoming economically self-sufficient and “recession-proof”. Haven’t quite finished it, but I highly recommend it for anyone who’s looking to cut expenses. So, I still don’t have cool pictures to post – I probably never will!! We’re down to the last week of school for the little kids (but they will be heading right back to school two weeks later!). They are totally excited to be going to new grades. Hope it meets their expectations! Spencer is getting ready to go to BYU football camp next week with a couple of friends. He started strength training this week to get ready for the football season in the fall. I hope he enjoys freshman football. I think it could be a great experience.
