General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
So – we’ve come to the end of another General Conference and there were SO many great talks. I found myself being reminded over and over again how grateful I am for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Elder Holland’s talk on Christ’s crucifixion and the idea of being alone and how we are never alone was so moving. Beyond that, I was inspired by all the talks about the temple and the importance of attending the temple more often. This is my new goal – to get to the temple more often. Also, I have to say that the music was beautiful (as always) but I so enjoyed the choir’s arrangement of This is My Beloved Son. This has been a favorite of mine for awhile – but it brought me to tears today. So – what was your favorite talk?
Right after conference was over I turned to Andrew and told him that we need to go to the Temple more. There were a lot of great talks that inspired me to attend more regular now I just have to do it. I loved Elder Holland’s talk too. As he was speaking I thought this will be one of those talks that we read and study for years. It made me appreciate even more what the Savior has done for us all.
