Andrew’s Baptism – May 2008

Well, Andrew worked hard, and waited longer than he really wanted to, but the big day finally arrived!  He was going to be baptized!

Tom and Johanna were gone the week before Andrew’s baptism, so all the preparations had to be done in advance.  Because of a wedding in our building, Andrew got to be baptized in the Stake Center.  It was a happy day as Andrew made the decision to follow Jesus Christ and join His church.  He was especially excited to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and have some extra help in making good choices.

We were glad to welcome some family from out of town (Grandma & Grandpa Cottle, Aunt Erin, and new baby Kate) and to have our in-town family be here as well – Uncle Andrew & Aunt Sarah (Jane and new baby Reynolds), Uncle Alex & Aunt Cynthia (and little Alex), and Uncle Travis & Aunt Jennifer (with Drew, Kali, and Megan).  It was great to have all the cousins there to celebrate the day.  And to make things extra special, after the baptism, Uncle Andrew blessed baby Reynolds.
